I’ve never been interested in staying in one creative lane.

I’m a creative executive, director, producer, writer and artist with 15+ years of experience turning ideas, business challenges and occasionally blank pieces of paper into creative that people actually want to watch, read, share and remember.

My work lives at the intersection of creative strategy, storytelling and execution.

I’ve led creative across brands, agencies and organizations; built and developed teams; directed productions; shaped brand voices; written everything from commercials and integrated campaigns to films, radio, digital content and books; and created original artwork that has traveled from my sketchbook to award-winning commercial packaging.

My video work has appeared across MTV, Hulu, YouTube, broadcast, paid media and social platforms, as well as film festivals. I’ve developed creative for audiences around the world and across wildly different brands—which taught me something important very early:

There is no formula for great creative.

The audience changes. The business problem changes. The platform changes. The brand changes.

So the creative should, too.

STRATEGY WITHOUT CREATIVITY IS JUST A PLAN.

Creativity without strategy is blowing a kiss in the dark.

I don't believe creative exists simply to make things beautiful.

It should do something.

Build the brand. Solve the problem. Change perception. Generate interest. Drive action. Make someone laugh. Make someone feel something. Remind someone of something lost.

Sometimes that means developing an integrated campaign across dozens of university partners. Sometimes it means figuring out how to tell the story of a luxury desk made with duck eggshells. Sometimes it means turning a hand-drawn anatomical heart into award-winning wine packaging.

And apparently, sometimes it means turning bad dating decisions into fried potatoes.

The medium isn't the point.

The idea is.

I LEAD PEOPLE, NOT JUST PROJECTS.

Some of the best creative work I've ever produced began with understanding the people around me.

I believe in finding what someone does exceptionally well and giving them room to do it. I build teams around complementary strengths, develop people where they need support, and create environments where good ideas can come from anywhere.

I can lead the room without needing to be the most important person in it.

That matters to me.

Because creative leadership isn't about having every answer. It's about recognizing the right idea, asking the right questions, building the right team and knowing how to get exceptional work across the finish line.

THEN THERE'S THE OTHER HALF OF MY BRAIN.

I'm also a lifelong artist and storyteller.

My artwork is held in private and public collections around the world. My commercial art has expanded into award-winning packaging. I've written feature films, shorts, commercials, campaigns, radio, brand copy and books. I earned my degree in Film & Media Arts from Southern Methodist University, and I've spent my career moving comfortably between strategy meetings, writers' rooms, production sets and sketchbooks.

I don't consider those separate careers.

They are different expressions of the same instinct:

See what others might miss. Find the story. Figure out how to bring it to life.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE TABLE?

Creative Strategy · Creative Direction · Brand Development · Storytelling · Video & Content Production · Integrated Marketing · Copywriting · Team Leadership · Creative Operations · Visual Art · A very healthy respect for a great idea.

And when the situation calls for it, a questionable amount of knowledge about Trash Tater Tots.

THE SHORT VERSION?

I build ideas. I build teams. I build brands. And I create work that has a reason to exist.

What are working to build? I’m curious to see how I can help.
